March !!! My creativity has been flowing with the many shades of green. I've been enjoying making cards with shamrocks and ribbons,   I crocheted some green shamrock keychains

The base of these cute clovers are soda can tabs (3 each to be exact!).  I had this green with silver metallic yarn from  "I Love This Yarn!".  This yarn made for some sparkly, glittery fun!  I've got more ideas bubbling (pun intended!) in me on how to use these soda can tabs.

These may be found at the Rock Paper Scissors in Rogers, Arkansas.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hats, Scarves, and more hats

I've been crazy crocheting hats, scarves, and more hats....I even got a head to model them for me!  Some of them became gifts and others I may sell on my etsy shop (imellejaye).  Please check soon as I may be able to add them in a few days.

On the topic of shops, I've also found  a quaint shop  in Old Town Georgetown called Handcrafts Unlimited.  A couple of  my crocheted blankets are there along with some owl keychains, and owl plushies.  If you're ever visiting Georgetown, please stop by "on the Square in Georgetown."

The last three pics are sets.  The scarves  of the last two are infinity scarves, you know, the ones that are circular.

This blogging is a new activity for me and I thank you for being patient.  I'm glad you visited and would enjoy seeing what you've made,( if you're so inclined!)

Crocheted Hats

I am so enjoying crocheting this lovely hat pattern which was shared on youtube by http://meladorascreations-com.webs.com...http://meladorascreations-com.webs.com I hope it's okay to share the link, Meladora!  I really enjoy her patterns!  I've made about 8 different colored riptide hats. If you already know how to crochet then it should be pretty easy to work (IMHO).  So, here's a shot of one of my versions (Yes, I did tweak it for myself!). Thanks so much for your tutorials, Meladora!  Please keep 'em coming!  LJ
My red Riptide Hat!  I will try the matching scarf also!
